Move with intention. Build strength with intelligence. Experience yoga as both practice and connection.
My teaching is rooted in a disciplined, traditional understanding of both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, thoughtfully applied to create a practice that is both intelligent and deeply engaging.
I completed my 300-hour certification with Suzanne Cardinal through Into This World Yoga Teacher Training, and over the past 15 years have accumulated more than 10,000 hours teaching individuals and groups. This depth of experience allows me to meet a wide range of students with clarity, precision, and adaptability.
My formal training in Hatha yoga informs the structure and integrity of my classes. In this tradition, postures are held for longer durations to cultivate strength, stability, and awareness. Classes are intentionally organized into focused segments—such as core work, backbends, balance, standing poses, twists, and hip openers—so that each area of the body is developed with attention and purpose. This approach builds a strong, sustainable foundation and encourages a deeper understanding of alignment and function.
Alongside this, my personal practice in Vinyasa yoga brings fluidity, creativity, and progression. Vinyasa is a deliberate sequencing method in which postures are linked through breath in repeating patterns that gradually evolve in complexity. Each sequence builds toward a thoughtfully chosen peak pose, creating a sense of direction, momentum, and accomplishment. Arm balances are a natural extension of this style and are often incorporated for those who enjoy exploring strength, control, and playfulness within their practice. For clients seeking a more athletic, calisthenics-inspired experience, I offer more challenging Vinyasa classes that emphasize strength, endurance, and advanced transitions.
A subtle Jivamukti Yoga influence is woven throughout my teaching, not only through music and rhythm, but through an emphasis on yoga as a path of connection. This includes elements of philosophy that highlight the interconnectedness of all beings, along with the practice of ahimsa—non-harming—as a guiding principle both on and off the mat. In more dynamic classes, curated playlists help shape the energy of the room, supporting a practice that is both expressive and immersive.
Every offering—whether private, group, corporate, or virtual—is entirely customized. Each session is designed around your goals, preferences, and the experience you want to create, whether that is strength-building, stress relief, or meaningful connection.
Yoga classes are an exceptional way to deepen bonds within your workplace team, or even on a company retreat/training weekend! Some businesses that I have taught classes for in the past, whether for their own employees or their athletes: Nike, Apple, Genentech, Google, Sonoma Produce, Arista Winery, Hotel Healdsburg, H2 Hotel, 3 Sister’s Inn, and many many more. Start your journey here: Fill out the contact form with your goals, group size, and preferred hour/time of day for class. Are you flexible, or does the class need to be exactly at this day/time? Are you wanting a one-time class, a series of classes (a package), or a regularly ongoing class weekly? Once submitted, feel free to send a quick text to let me know your request is in—I’ll follow up with availability and pricing. Dates are booked up to 4 months in advance, and there is often a wait-list for high demand dates: weekends, mornings, and evenings. Put your request in early, and be thorough with your initial request. Ask for all the dates and times that you are going to want. Sometimes, extra equipment is needed.
